Chicken Curry - Mirchi Desi Recipes

(Serves 2 ppl)

Ingredients Required: Click on the name to view the ingredient

Chicken: 1.2 kg

Onions:

Ginger: 2 inches 

Garlic: 1 

Ginger Garlic Paste

Naan

 

The Recipe:

Wash and pat dry the chicken pieces. Chop the onions. Chop the ginger. Separate the garlic cloves. Trim the green chillies tails. Make a ginger, garlic and chilli paste.

 

Add 3-4 tsp oil in a pan. Add onions. Saute the onions till they are light brown. Let it cool and make a paste of 1/3rd part.
Add 1-2 tsp oil in a pan. Add 1 black cardamom and 2 cloves. Add 2 dried red chillies. Add chicken and fry for 5 mins on medium heat.

 

Add remaining brown onions. Add onion paste. Add ginger, garlic and chilli paste.
Add 1 tsp turmeric. Add 1 tsp red chilli powder. Add 1 tsp black pepper. Add salt to taste.

 

Add water for consistency. Put the lid on and cook for 20-25 mins on low flame. 
Add 1 tsp garam masala. Add dried fenugreek leaves. Put the lid on and cook for 5 mins on low flame. Serve with Naan ❤️
