Matar Paneer (Peas & Cottage Cheese) - Mirchi Desi Recipes

The recipe ( serves 2 people )

Onions - 2

Cottage Cheese - 300 g

Tomatoes - 2

Garlic - 5 cloves 

Ginger - 1 inch 

Red Chillies - 2 (dried) 

Green peas - 1 cup

Green Chillies - 3 

The Recipe:

Chop onions. Add 2 tbsp oil. Stir fry onions till light brown. Chop 2 tomatoes. Add chop tomatoes. Add brown onions. Add garlic cloves and ginger. Add 1 dried chilli and 1 green chilly. Blend to form a coarse paste. 

Add 1 tbsp oil in the pan. Add 2 tbsp cumin. Add 1 dried red chilly. Add two gloves garlic and half inch ginger. Pour the paste. Add salt to taste. Add.1 tbsp red chilly powder, 1 tbsp turmeric powder and 1 tbsp coriander powder. Add water for consistency. Put the lid on and let it simmer for 5 mins on low flame. 

Chop 2 green chillies. Slice cottage cheese into cubes. Add green peas. Add cottage cheese. Add chopped green chillies. Put the lid on and let it simmer for 5 mins on low flame. 

Add fresh coriander. Serve with chapati 💛
